World-Renowned Grizzly Biologist, Wayne McCrory of Valhalla Wilderness Society, presents the future of Spirit, Black and Grizzly Bears, Chilcotin Wild Horses, Mountain Caribou and Roosevelt Elk. Wayne McCrory will also introduce VWS's work on the 'Selkirk Mountain Caribou Park Proposal'. Master of Ceremonies, Briony Penn of Salt Spring Island, is an award-winning author, columnist, artist, geographer, TV broadcaster and activist. This multimedia evening opens with the premiere screening of a short documentary by area filmmaker, Phil Carson, on the Story of DL33, a crown older growth forest in Nanoose Bay.
